Taylor Swift's new album drops Friday, and with it come a handful of parties for New Orleans Swifties to celebrate.

Why it matters: The new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," is all glitz, and these events look like a great reason to shine a little bit.

Yes, but: Here are a few locally-born events to celebrate Swift's new music:

🥂 Brennan's Restaurant hosts an album release party from 3pm to 6pm Friday.

Expect track list-themed drinks and swag, DJ Sohlid Gold spinning Swift tunes and a 5pm Champagne sabering. Tickets are $20 and include a welcome cocktail.

✨ Fringe & Co. has a party Friday from 6-8pm with a DJ, glitter station and pop-ups from Crowned by Topher and the Little Lagniappe Bar. Details.

🧡 Urban South is releasing a new orange marmalade "Showgirl Seltzer" on Friday. It'll only be available in the tap room.

🪩 Lost Coyote offers a Swift-inspired burlesque brunch on Saturday from noon to 2pm.

A $20 ticket includes the show and pool access, but opt in for brunch, too, for bottomless mimosas.
