About 55 artists reclaimed a 450-foot stretch of wall along the Lower Ninth Ward levee that broke after Hurricane Katrina.
Why it matters: That group includes high school students who completed Brandan "BMike" Odums' Eternal Seeds nonprofit summer intensive for emerging artists.
The group was able to "transform and perform alchemy on one of the most important walls in the city," Odums says, in a press release.
