Got a museum membership? That's your ticket into nearly 30 others this month in New Orleans.

Why it matters: Museum Month is here to help you escape the August heat.

How it works: If you have an active annual membership at any participating museum, you and a guest get free entry at all the others all month long.

Example: Children's Museum members get free tickets to the National WWII Museum and vice versa. Same for StudioBE and the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience.
