The National WWII Museum broke ground this week on another Magazine Street building within its downtown complex.
Why it matters: The museum will get a new leadership training space and expand its exhibition footprint, especially for vehicles and other "oversized" artifacts, a press release says.
This sounds cool: The leadership training space will include a custom, fully immersive environment for WWII-based role-playing, the museum says, "bringing the history of the war to life in new ways."
Zoom in: The new building will be called the Floyd Pavilion in honor of Timber and Peggy Floyd, who gave a $7.5 million gift to support the new project.
