A New Orleans entrepreneur is using AI to sync up city databases in a bid to help officials identify and fix infrastructure problems faster, according to The Times-Picayune.
Why it matters: If it works, Matt Wisdom's solution could fill potholes while creating tech jobs.
Zoom in: Wisdom, who built and sold Turbosquid for $75M, created an AI-powered chat bot that residents can interact with directly.
Users can ask the bot in plain-speak about infrastructure problems. Then, it chews through that data before replying, also in plain-speak.
Users can also report new issues they spot on their own.
