Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Luke Combs, Lil Wayne & The Roots and Lenny Kravitz will headline Jazz Fest 2025 in New Orleans.
Why it matters: Rock on, my brothers, sisters and friends.
The big picture: Jazz Fest combines the top touring acts with the best musicians and food New Orleans has to offer.
- The annual two weekend-long event is a cornerstone of the city's festival season, not to mention a massive shot in the arm to the city's hospitality industry, too.
Headliners in 2025 also include Lenny Kravitz, Kacey Musgraves, Santana, John Fogerty, Burna Boy, HAIM, Cage The Elephant, Laufey, Bryson Tiller, Harry Connick Jr., Patti LaBelle, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.
Zoom in: Locals Thursday will return for both weekends again in 2025, according to a press release.
- Dates this year are April 24-27 and May 1-4.
- Weekend passes and VIP tickets are on sale now. Single-day tickets and the full day-by-day schedule known as The Cubes will be available later.
New this year: Louisiana residents will be able to get special admission pricing on general admission weekend and single-day tickets, a press release says.
- Weekend passes for residents are $290 through Jan. 31, and $305 after that.
- Local Thursday tickets for both days will also be discounted to $50. Those aren't yet available to purchase.
Between the lines: Dave Matthews Band headlined the festival in 2001. That year, the fest shattered its own attendance records with 650,000 total visitors and an all-time single-day attendance record of 160,000.
