Louisiana broke its 2020 record for in-person early voting, Secretary of State Nancy Landry says.

Zoom in: 817,957 Louisiana voters cast early ballots in-person in 2020. This year, 849,784 Louisiana voters did so, according to Secretary of State numbers provided Tuesday.
The state also broke its single-day in-person early voting record on Tuesday, the last day of early voting, with 103,456 votes tallied.
In total, 960,561 Louisianans voted early so far this year, according to the Tuesday numbers, which includes absentee ballots.
