Why it matters: Good things can happen in the 'burbs.
The big picture: Tacos del Cartel is delicious, and we've been enjoying it in Metairie for a few years. Same for Brasa, Banh Mi Boys, Dahla (aka Thai Ocha) and Wishing Town Bakery.
I'm sure we'll see more Jefferson Parish restaurateurs expand to New Orleans.
The bottom line: Please think twice before giving Metairie residents grief for our zip code. We've got great restaurants too.
