Todd Graves is known for founding Raising Cane's, but the entrepreneur is making inroads with the Hollywood crowd.
Driving the news: His show, "Secret Sauce with Todd Graves," premiered on A&E in the spring, and his friendship with musician Post Malone led to a custom-cup collab.
- In 2021, he also had the "Restaurant Recovery" series on Max.
Who dat: Graves started Raising Cane's 27 years ago with a location near LSU. Now, the chicken chain operates in 33 states.
He talked with Axios New Orleans about life in southeast Louisiana.

š Where did youĀ go to school? Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge.
š“ Where do you eat besides your own restaurant?Ā Ruffino's is a longtime favorite.
š„ Go-to cocktail?Ā Bourbon and water.
š Your best Halloween/Mardi Gras costume:Ā I love traditions for holidays, so I appreciate classic Halloween costumes, and my go-to is the skeleton suit.
- Also, I was king of Washington Mardi Gras in 2018 so my Mardi Gras costume for that was one of my best.
š You get to serve as royalty of any krewe or second-line club. Who are you rolling with?Ā I'd love to show my buddy Snoop Dogg what Mardi Gras in New Orleans is all about ā specifically Krewe of Bacchus, because I'm a longtime member.
š¤ What's your poboy order?Ā Fried shrimp from Domilise's is at the top of my list.
