Todd Graves is known for founding Raising Cane's, but the entrepreneur is making inroads with the Hollywood crowd.

Driving the news: His show, "Secret Sauce with Todd Graves," premiered on A&E in the spring, and his friendship with musician Post Malone led to a custom-cup collab.

Who dat: Graves started Raising Cane's 27 years ago with a location near LSU. Now, the chicken chain operates in 33 states.

He talked with Axios New Orleans about life in southeast Louisiana.

  • His answers have been edited for length and clarity.

🎒 Where did you go to school? Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge.

🍴 Where do you eat besides your own restaurant? Ruffino's is a longtime favorite.

🥃 Go-to cocktail? Bourbon and water.

🎭 Your best Halloween/Mardi Gras costume: I love traditions for holidays, so I appreciate classic Halloween costumes, and my go-to is the skeleton suit.

  • Also, I was king of Washington Mardi Gras in 2018 so my Mardi Gras costume for that was one of my best.

👑 You get to serve as royalty of any krewe or second-line club. Who are you rolling with? I'd love to show my buddy Snoop Dogg what Mardi Gras in New Orleans is all about — specifically Krewe of Bacchus, because I'm a longtime member.

🍤 What's your poboy order? Fried shrimp from Domilise's is at the top of my list.
