The big picture: Martin helped launch the newsletter in 2022. Sommer joined the team in January. We're both Miami Herald alums.
Martin loves hot yoga, hot coffee and the Miami Heat. He grew up on the Beach, but he now lives in Hollywood with his wife and their senior chihuahua Ollie.
Sommer plays soccer, does pottery and goes to lots of concerts. She's a coffee snob and wants to be friends with Jimmy Butler.
