Meet the Maker: De Aquí y De Allá opens at IND

• Launched in 2023, LAMP is designed to help Latino artists break into Indianapolis' art scene with a professional presence.

Zoom in: LAMP cohort mentor Daniel Del Real says the exhibit allows artists to "examine the duality of accepting and belonging to two cultures."

• "That of our homelands, and that of the land we find ourselves in now," he said on social media. "We reject the notion of not fitting in here or there and proclaim we belong here and there."
• A version of the show previously ran at the Eiteljorg Museum from Dec. 5 -Jan. 31.

If you go: The exhibit kicked off a six-month run in the KIND Gallery at Indianapolis International Airport on July 10.

• It is accessible only to guests flying in and out of the airport.
