Make up for all that trash left behind after the Indianapolis 500 by showing Mother Earth some love this weekend at Garfield Park.
Driving the news: The free Earth Day Indiana Festival will provide family- and pet-friendly fun in the sun from 10am-4pm Saturday.
- The annual celebration aims to connect Hoosiers while promoting environmental protection, conservation of natural resources and sustainable living.
Zoom in: Featured activities include a wildlife demonstration, a mobile skills park to help bike riders of all ages hone their abilities, and an EV showcase to highlight green rides.
- Seven local acts will provide live music.
- There will also be opportunities to safely recycle your old electronics.
Plus: Free parking will be available at Providence Cristo Rey High School, and a shuttle service will take people to Garfield Park every 15 minutes.
