A fast-growing, fast-casual breakfast chain with big Central Indiana expansion plans and even bigger biscuits is celebrating the arrival of its first location in the Hoosier state.
Driving the news: Vicious Biscuit made its debut in Fishers to close out 2025 and will host an official grand opening celebration on Jan. 24.
- Next week will feature daily promotions, including merch giveaways, raising money for local charities, free entrées for first responders and more.
- During the grand opening, the first 100 people in line will take home a Vicious Biscuit Black Card good for a year of free grub.
Zoom in: The four local franchise partners say they have plans to open 10 locations across Central Indiana with Fishers serving as the flagship.
- The brand launched in 2017 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
- "After visiting Vicious Biscuit's original Mount Pleasant location, we knew right away this was something special," franchise partner David Dessner said in a statement. "From the incredible food to the energy and hospitality, it's an experience unlike anything else."

What we ordered: For biscuits, my wife and I opted for The S.E.C. ($9.50) and Nashville Hot Chicken ($10).
- I also added a side of pimento cheese grits ($4.50) and a spiked coffee made with Kahlua ($10).
My take: Both biscuits were stellar. The S.E.C. is their take on the classic sausage, egg and cheese with shredded white cheddar and a pork patty thick as a hamburger.
- The hot chicken brings great heat, but the seasoned pickles take it from good to great.
- The grits were well done, but unless you really love pimento cheese (which I do), skip them. The pimento cheese-to-grits ratio leans heavily toward the former.
Pro tip: Come hungry.
- I have a big appetite and can polish off a plate-eclipsing tenderloin with the best of them, but a biscuit, side and whip cream-topped spiked coffee was almost too much.
If you go: 8711 E. 106th St. Suite 110 in Fishers.
- 7am-2:30pm daily.
