Halloween 2025: When you can trick-or-treat in the Indianapolis area

Indianapolis trick-or-treaters looking to score an epic candy haul this year will have two hours to stack those Snickers.

Driving the news: Official trick-or-treat hours in the Circle City are 6-8pm.

The same times apply for Speedway, Lawrence, Southport, the Governor's Mansion and Indianapolis Fire Department Stations.
In Beech Grove, the hours are 5:30-8pm, and in Southport it's 5-8pm.

Pro tip: City officials offered the following tips to make sure Halloween night is safe.

Wear light-colored clothing short enough to prevent tripping and add reflective tape.
Make sure children can see well through face masks.
Don't wear masks or disguises into businesses, and avoid props like toy guns.
Carry a flashlight if you'll be out after dark.
Only give and accept wrapped or packaged treats, and examine all candy before eating.
