Colson is an established WNBA veteran who joined the Fever following three years in Las Vegas that included back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023.
A native of Houston, she started her career with the Connecticut Sun in 2011 after attending Texas A&M University.
In addition to playing for six different WNBA teams, Colson also has experience playing in Poland and Israel.
Fun fact: As an Aggie, Colson was part of the team that beat Notre Dame to win the 2011 NCAA Championship in Indianapolis.
What she's saying: Colson said she knows that supporters have high expectations for this season, and confidence among the fanbase is fuel for the Fever.
"Be excited about the people that we have here. Do your best to find out more about the players, because then it'll make you excited about supporting this team even more," she said. "But I think (the fan's) excitement is appropriate, and we do have high expectations for ourselves as well."
