'Tis the season for Spotify to tell you what songs you couldn't stop playing in 2024.
The big picture: Taylor Swift was Indy's No. 1 artist this year — not surprising considering the excitement for her Lucas Oil Stadium takeover.
- Swift was also Spotify's most-listened to artist globally for the second year in a row.
- Rounding out Indy's top five in order was Morgan Wallen, Drake, Zach Bryan and Kanye West.
Zoom in: Here is the rest of Indianapolis' 2024 Spotify Wrapped:

🎤 Justin's top artists
- Brent Faiyaz
- Capcom Sound Team
- Tyler, The Creator
- Beyoncé
- DEAN
His take: Hip-hop, soul, video game music and Korean alt-R&B? Yep, sounds right to me. Well done, Spotify. But where the heck is Vulfpeck and Daniel Caesar?
🎸 Arika's top artists
- Taylor Swift
- Oliva Rodrigo
- Noah Kahan
- Chappell Roan
- Sabrina Carpenter
Her take: I don't use Spotify very often, but when I do it's usually to check out one particular artist. So, it's no great surprise that the Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan phases that most of us went through this year put them in my top 5. All the "research" I did ahead of Taylor Swift's takeover of the city last month was also evident.
🪩 Lindsey's top artists
- Taylor Swift
- Vitamin String Quartet
- Maggie Rogers
- Noah Kahan
- Beyoncé
Her take: Honestly, none of this surprised me. Yes, even Vitamin String Quartet made sense. I enjoy listening to music while I work from home, and their instrumental songs are perfect for that.
