Hey there, Swifties. Drop everything now.
Why it matters: Taylor Swift officially takes over Indianapolis in one week, but if we're being honest, "The Eras Tour" hype has already consumed the city.
- Even our downtown street names have changed to start the celebration early.
Zoom in: Whether you're going to the concert or not, you deserve to live your best Taylor Swift "Eras Tour" life in Indianapolis.
- So, we created a guide on how to celebrate each era.
🫶 Caveat: If you are not a Swifty, we apologize, but these song references may not be for you.
🤠 Debut: This is Swift's country era, so get out of the city, never grow up and run around a corn maze or pick pumpkins at a nearby farm before they close for the season.
💪 Fearless: Be fearless and head to North Mass Boulder or go ziplining at Eagle Creek Park. Change gears and tour the Scottish Rite Cathedral, where Swift filmed the "Change" music video.
🎤 Speak Now: Let your voice be heard: Sing karaoke at Downtown Olly's or go vote early at the City-County Building.
💃 Red: The season is over, so you can't catch a game, but you're feeling 22 so go buy a Caitlin Clark shirt and head to Swig — even though you know that much sugar will be trouble.
🪩 1989: Never go out of style by getting permanent bracelets from Honey in Carmel.
🐍 Reputation: Get harder in the nick of time by taking your anger out in a local rage room, or throw some axes downtown at Bad Axe Throwing. Get smarter at a weekly trivia night.
🌈 Lover: Stay calm and head to the "Eras Tour" Drag Brunch at the Skyline Club or to Baby's for Halloween-themed drag brunch this weekend.
🍂 Folklore: Grab your cardigan, stroll through Newfields and explore the gold color of the leaves at 100-acre park.
🌲 Evermore: Have champagne (problems) during brunch at Cafe Patachou in the Stutz building, and then check out all the plants at Grounded Plant & Floral Co.
✨ Midnights: Take a selfie with the "monster on the hill" aka the giant Taylor Swift on the JW Marriott downtown and have tea time at Tea's Me Cafe.
📖 The Tortured Poets Department: Spend a fortnight visiting our many local bookstores and maybe find some of Dylan Thomas' work. Ask "Who uses typewriters anyway" while checking out Kurt Vonnegut's typewriter at the museum dedicated to his work.
