A new Texas Southern University survey out today found Democrat James Talarico (47%) leading Republican Ken Paxton (45%) by 2 percentage points in the Texas U.S. Senate race.
In the governor's race, Abbott (49%) leads Democrat Gina Hinojosa (43%) by 6 percentage points.
The TSU report surveyed 1,200 registered Texas voters between July 27 and July 30 with a margin of error of +/- 2.83%
