Bun B to perform Trill Unplugged anniversary show

Houston rapper Bun B will perform unplugged Oct. 18 at House of Blues to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his solo debut album.

Why it matters: Trill Unplugged promises raw performances from the album and candid reflections from the rapper as he retraces the steps of his career since the album was released.

Driving the news: Limited presale tickets will go on sale at 10am Wednesday and 10pm Thursday, with general admission on sale 10am Friday.

Flashback: Bun B released "Trill," his solo debut album, on Oct. 18, 2005, after years of working alongside Pimp C in the hip-hop duo UGK.

The intrigue: The concert will feature live instrumentation and special guests.

What they're saying: "Twenty years later, I'm excited to celebrate ("Trill") with y'all with a few stories as well," Bun B said in a press release. "Join me for a night to remember."
