BOGO Houston Theater Week returns with nearly 400 shows

Houston Theater Week starts Monday, offering buy-one-get-one-free ticket deals to nearly 400 shows during the 2025-26 theater season — the most in its four-year history.

Why it matters: The weeklong event gives Houstonians discounted access to 21 organizations — from major venues like the Hobby Center to community groups like Kinetic Ensemble — showcasing theater, opera, dance, music and more across the city.

In addition to performances, this year's lineup includes a celebrity lecture series featuring actress Jane Fonda, chef Samin Nosrat, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and humorist David Sedaris.

How it works: Use the code HTW25 to buy tickets until midnight Sunday.

The latest: Debuting this year, Ask V is an AI assistant that recommends shows based on your interests, plus nearby hotels, restaurants and activities.

Flashback: Last year, Theater Week generated nearly $1.4 million in revenue with more than 32,000 tickets sold.
