Houston soccer fans can now get tickets to FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, but it'll cost.
The intrigue: FIFA is catering to high-spending superfans by launching VIP hospitality packages a year ahead of the tournament.
Catch up quick: NRG Stadium will host five group-stage matches and two knockout-round games in 2026.
The group-stage games will be on June 14, 17, 20, 23 and 26. The knockout matches will be on June 29 (round of 32) and July 4 (round of 16).
State of play: On Location, FIFA's official hospitality partner, is selling VIP packages for some matches.
The "U.S. venue series" package offers access to four to nine matches at a single stadium, starting at $8,275 per person.
The "follow my team series" lets fans go to all of their team's early-stage matches, no matter where, starting at $6,750 per person. (Not available for host nation teams.)
On Location will also soon be selling eight-match packages and booking for private suites.
