The cafe offers classic Yemeni favorites, and true to Yemeni style, it stays open late — until midnight most nights and 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.Â
The vibe: When I visited, it had a mix of remote workers and business meetings.Â
What to order: The server recommended the Adeni chai and the Mazajj latte. Both were cozy and not in-your-face strong, in a good way. Drinks were priced around $4-6.Â
They also have the viral Dubai chocolate, filled with pistachio and kataifi pastry, which was rich and indulgent. The lighter pistachio cake offered a nice balance.Â
