The Texans return to NRG Stadium on Sunday for another bout with division rivals the Indianapolis Colts.

Why it matters: Houston must win this matchup to maintain AFC South supremacy and bragging rights before heading into a three-game stretch of nationally televised games.

Flashback: The Texans narrowly beat the Colts in the season opener 29-27.

Now, Houston has a 5-2 record, while Indianapolis (4-3), is in a close second.

The intrigue: All eyes are on the Texans' offensive line, which faced criticism after allowing three rushing plays of 10 yards or more and 4 sacks in last week's bitter 24-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Yes, but: Quarterback C.J. Stroud, the player with the most at stake, defended his O-line ahead of Sunday's game with the Colts.

"I don't believe in the banter," Stroud said. "This next week I know the protection is going to be great, and I can't wait for it."

How to watch: Kickoff is at noon on CBS.
