Parking tips

Two city parking lots within a 25-minute walk to Comerica Park will be open from 6am to midnight for $10:

• Ford Underground Garage, 30 E. Jefferson Ave.
• Eastern Market Garage, 2727 Riopelle St.

Street parking is another option, especially if you're willing to walk farther.

• You can find and reserve street spots through the Park Detroit app and pay for up to four hours at a time.
• Upon expiration, you can extend your time remotely through the app or at any of the city's parking kiosks. Expired meter tickets are $45.

Refrain from parking in lots without clear signage and posted rates.

Transit

DDOT's Woodward, Gratiot, Grand River and Michigan Avenue bus routes lead downtown, with a $2 fare.

Free Qline rides are available and will be useful for those parking north of Comerica in the Midtown and New Center areas.

The People Mover is also free for getting around downtown.

The bottom line: Whether you're attending the game or working downtown, be safe, be patient, don't litter … and go Tigers!
