Detroit's Thanksgiving parade and other things to do this weekend

• If you can't make it in person and don't have cable, the parade can be streamed for free on Local 4+.
• This year's grand marshals are retiring U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, NBC sports announcer Mike Tirico, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan CEO Dan Loepp.

🚗 Transit and road closures: With the parade, Turkey Trot and Lions game — more on football below — all convening Thursday, tens of thousands of people will be downtown. Plan accordingly.

• Woodward closes Wednesday for the parade at 9am between West Grand Boulevard and Warren. It closes between Warren and Congress at noon.
