Detroit's top-streamed artist on Spotify this year was Taylor Swift, followed by Drake, Morgan Wallen, 21 Savage and Future.

Drake notably sampled a Detroit gospel singer on his new album.

Driving the news: The annual music/personality talking vehicle Spotify Wrapped dropped on Wednesday, using data from 574 million listeners' patterns to name Taylor Swift the most-streamed artist globally.

Spotify users can post their years in review, share personalized playlists and — most importantly — judge their friends' taste.

Maybe Swifites can explain it to me, but I'm confused why a 4-year-old Taylor Swift song made this!
