Liz Lidgett moving into new Ingersoll gallery

State of play: Liz Lidgett Gallery and Design will take over the Jeid Studio space at 2921 Ingersoll Ave. Jeid, an interior design firm, is moving to a larger showroom in Waukee.

• The new gallery will be ready for business Oct. 10.

Zoom in: The new location spans more than 4,000 square feet and gives more space for artwork and interior design services.

The intrigue: A wall will feature a different Iowa artist every month.

What's next: Beyond the move, Lidgett is also debuting a book, "Art for Everyone," which releases in April.

The book offers tips for people to build their own art collection on any budget.
