🧁 Something sweet: Ankeny's Cinnaholic location opens and is selling $2 cinnamon rolls. 10am-2pm.

🧶 Iowa's largest arts and craft show is at the Varied Industries Building at the fairgrounds. $7. 5-9pm Friday and runs through the weekend.

🧩 It's adult game night at Happy Apple Celebrations in Norwalk! 6-9pm. Free!

🍷 Sample wine, food and beer while supporting the Des Moines Metro Opera at the downtown Marriott. 6-9pm. Tickets: $50.

👯‍♂️ "Love Letters" is a ballet inspired by queer Iowans at Hoyt Sherman Place. 8pm tonight and 7pm Saturday. Tickets: $37-87.

🐱 Take an introductory pole class and support animals at the ARL during "Sweat for Pets" at Encore Fitness in Clive. Noon. Registration: $20.

🏳️‍🌈 Dance the night away at "Baewatch," a lesbian/queer party at Lefty's. 9pm. Tickets: $10.

🎻 Des Moines Symphony celebrates its 100th anniversary with George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" at the Civic Center. 7:30pm tonight and 2:30pm Sunday. Tickets: $15-$70.
