Cheering for the Colorado Rockies has been a labor of love these past few seasons. It's probably why fans lose faith pretty quickly after the L's start piling up.

By the numbers: Despite recent struggles, the Rockies own one of the shortest worst losing streaks in the MLB — 13 straight during a dismal stretch in their inaugural 1993 season (when they played at the old Broncos stadium).
- The Philadelphia Phillies own the MLB's modern-day record, losing 23 in a row in 1961.
What's next: The Rockies open the season with a six game road trip against the Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Phillies.
