Dublin is proving that not everyone is leaning on AI for cookie-cutter branding and soulless images.
Designing the news: Visit Dublin, the city's tourism organization, commemorated this summer's relaunch of its free park pass with a collection of four locally designed posters.
- The pass is meant to bring people to more than 60 Dublin parks.
How it works: Visitors use a mobile "passport" (received via text and email after sign up) to check in at locations via GPS.
- For every five parks users visit, they'll earn a (real, physical) poster.
Zoom in: In collaboration with the Dublin Arts Council, the posters were inspired by the famous National Parks posters.
The four human, non-AI winners:
- Yani Sheng of Dublin, M.L. Red Trabue Nature Reserve.
- Marie Cottrell of Granville, Hayden Run Falls.
- Kevin Lopes of Powell, Indian Run Falls.
- Fiona Miller of Dublin, Riverside Crossing Park.
