This week's newsletters have been filled with updates about alarming arthropods, but here's one that is a little more upbeat.
The buzz: Impressive insect statues rolled into the Main Library this week and will be on display through Oct. 30.
- The large-scale models include a 4-foot bumblebee, a 7-foot grasshopper, and a firefly, dragonfly and moth all topping out at 8 feet.
- They'll accompany themed programs and bug-related book recommendations.
