Columbus' James Beard Award semifinalists

On the list: The three local semifinalists and where to find them:

• Outstanding Bakery: Dan the Baker, 1028 Ridge St.
• Outstanding Bar: Law Bird, 740 S. High St.
• Best Chef, Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH): Avishar Barua of Agni, 716 S. High St.

What's next: A narrower list of nominees will be announced April 2 and winners will be named at a June 16 ceremony in Chicago.
