Why Logan Paul could (and should) win WWE's Royal Rumble

One of WWE's biggest villains is back.

Driving the news: Logan Paul will appear on "Raw" Monday night. It's the first time the Westlake native will enter the ring on the show since it moved to Netflix.

The intrigue: Expect Paul to declare for this weekend's Royal Rumble at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium.

Should Paul win the annual over-the-top battle royal, he would earn a championship match at WrestleMania 41 in April.

State of play: The match features several big names, including Roman Reigns, John Cena and CM Punk, but don't rule out Paul winning.

WWE has yet to tease a potential opponent for world heavyweight champion Gunther and Paul is the kind of mainstream name the promotion likes for WrestleMania.

Zoom in: A win at the Rumble would likely mean a huge celebration in Cleveland, which hosts "Raw" at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Feb. 3.

Coincidentally, Paul's favorite nightlife spot, Barley House, just reopened after a remodel and hosts wrestling legend Hulk Hogan for a party this Saturday.
