The PGA Shops is bigger than a football field and filled with golf apparel by major sports brands like Adidas, Lululemon and the like.
Why it matters: You don't need a PGA Championship ticket to check it out. While you won't be able to walk the course, you can shop all weekend and take a picture with the Wanamaker Trophy Friday and Saturday.
What to expect: The 49,140-square-foot tent will include Charlotte-based apparel brand 704 Shop, plus Adidas, New Era, Under Armour, Cutter & Buck, Greg Norman, Foot-Joy, Peter Millar, Levelwear, Sunice, Imperial, Ahead, Garb, 47 Brand, Fairway & Green, Ralph Lauren, B Draddy, Lululemon, EP Pro, Straight Down, Greyson, Barstool, G-Fore and Branded Bills.
- It has 50 registers and 14 TVs, so you can watch while you shop.
How it works: The PGA Shops will be open to the public Friday, May 9, through Sunday, May 11, from 9am-6pm.
- This weekend, you can park for free at SouthPark Mall in the Belk Parking Garage. A free shuttle will take you to Quail Hollow Club.
The PGA Championship will debut a pop-up shop at Victoria Yards (209 E 7th St.) in Uptown during the tournament from 10am-8pm daily, featuring select PGA Championship merchandise.
- The goal is to bridge the gap between Uptown and Quail Hollow Club, tournament director Jason Soucy tells Axios.
What's next: The PGA Championship runs May 12-18. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are sold out. Grounds tickets start at $76 and up to two kids age 15 and younger get in free per adult ticket.
