Distro Beer Hub, a new beer hall, is expected to open in South End this spring, a spokesperson confirmed to Axios.

What to expect: Distro Beer Hub will feature Charlotte-based Heist Brewery and Divine Barrel Brewing, plus Asheville's DSSOLVR and Winston-Salem's Incendiary Brewing, Charlotte development writers Clayton Sealey and Jason Thomas first reported.
- The space will have five stalls — one for each brewery, plus one for cocktails, wine and nonalcoholic beer.
- Its food menu will feature small plates, burgers and sushi.
- There'll be an outdoor beer garden and seats at each bar.
- The space will have the equipment needed to brew beer.
What's next: Distro Beer Hub is expected to open by early May at 2412 Distribution St.
The big picture: South End's brewery scene helped define the neighborhood's identity. Today, dozens of breweries span the city, with some of the originals growing alongside Charlotte — hosting everything from first dates to weddings.
