Hawksmoor comes to Fort Point with Boston spin on its menu

Catch up quick: Hawksmoor's Boston menu includes dry-aged porterhouse, rib chop and other steaks sourced from Châtel Farms in Georgia.

• While the steaks are easily the main event, with rich comfort food side dishes to match, this menu also has some local staples like oysters and New Bedford crab on toast.

What they're saying: "What we have successfully done is kind of marry the sea and the land together," Thomas Park, the Boston head chef, tells Axios.

🍸 The pistachio espresso martini takes influence from Caffé Vittoria's espresso martini with its pistachio gelato float.

• Hawksmoor's version uses vodka infused with pistachio butter, an espresso shot, pistachio syrup and a drop of saline.

🍫 Hawksmoor put a local spin on its tributes, cream-filled chocolates inspired by Rolos. The Boston tributes have four flavors, rather than three: caramel, vanilla, peanut or fudge.

• They're a reference to the Sky Bar Candy manufactured by Necco, which once had a factory in Boston.
• "All of my desserts really bring something to people, which is a memory of your grandmother, your mother, some stage in your life … and that's what I wanted to do with the Sky Bar, too," says Carla Henriques, head pastry chef.
