Hanging from the ceiling of the Boston Public Library's Deferrari Hall is a massive, chain-like aluminum installation.
The intrigue: It's a feat of science-driven design and art, led by Alfonso Parra Rubio and Erik Strand, researchers at the MIT Center for Bits and Atoms.
Zoom in: The pair worked with the library and the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture to create and hang the artwork 23 feet in the air.
