Mass. high court strikes tax cut from ballot

The big picture: The justices ruled that the Attorney General's official summary was misleading because it told voters capital gains taxes wouldn't change, when the measure actually would have cut them as well as personal income taxes.

State of play: Business groups are blasting the decision, calling it a technicality that undermines the will of the more than 100,000 petition signers who got the question near the ballot.
