PickleBOS opens second location in Charlestown

State of play: PickleBOS' 23,000-square-foot site has 10 indoor courts, says Alex Karsos, the company's founder.

What they're saying: Karsos, a New Jersey native who lives in South Boston with his wife and children, sees Sullivan Square as an up-and-coming destination for professionals and families — kind of like Southie.

• "If you had ever asked me where the second one would be, I 100% of the time always said Charlestown," Karsos tells Axios.
• "It's an unbelievable neighborhood," he said, noting the mix of young professionals and families near public transit.

If you go: PickleBOS offers open play sessions for $20 during off-peak hours and up to $35 during peak hours for non-members, per its website.

• Members get discounts on court reservations, open play sessions, lessons and other events, as well as up to $200 founding member credits.
• But it'll cost you: A membership is $825 a year.
