Brookline's Coolidge Corner Theatrewill be one of only three cinemas on the entire planet where you can see the new Paul Thomas Anderson/Leonardo DiCaprio movie the way it was mean to be screened.
Why it matters: The Coolidge was selected along with three other venues worldwide to show "One Battle After Another" in rare VistaVision format.
VistaVision uses horizontal 35mm frames that are twice as wide as standard film, delivering exceptional sharpness and reduced film grain.
Zoom in: The Brookline theater will use a pair of original 1953 Century Projector Corp. prototype machines restored by Boston Light & Sound.
Catch up quick: The latest Anderson-directed film stars DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Chase Infiniti and Benicio del Toro.
