Two Mass General Brigham hospitals made the U.S. News Best Hospitals "honor roll."
Driving the news: Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital joined 18 other hospitals on the list.
Brigham ranked first in obstetrics and gynecology, third for diabetes treatment and fourth for rheumatology.
The Dana Farber Brigham Cancer Center ranked third in the nation for cancer treatment, behind the University of Texas' Anderson Cancer Center and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Brigham also ranked relatively high in urology (11th), cardiovascular (12th), orthopedics (12th) and geriatrics (14th).
MGH's rheumatology and psychiatry programs ranked first in their respective lists.
MGH's Mass Eye and Ear ranked fifth in the national ENT rankings and fourth in ophthalmology.
MGH also ranked high for cancer treatment (5th), rheumatology (6th), diabetes (8th), cardiovascular (8th), geriatrics (12th), orthopedics (13th) and urology (14th).

South Coast Hospitals in Fall River and UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester were named best regional hospitals for community access.
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center ranked 15th for obstetrics and gynecology.
McLean Hospital ranked second for psychiatry.
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital ranked second in the country for rehabilitation.
