Ex-Harvard morgue manager admits he sold body parts

Zoom in: Prosecutors say Lodge, 57, stole organs, skin, brains and dissected heads from cadavers donated to Harvard between 2018 and 2023. According to authorities:

• He and his wife, Denise Lodge, shipped the body parts from their New Hampshire home to buyers across the country.
• He was paid tens of thousands for the remains, including a $1,000 payment marked for "head number 7" and $200 for an order marked "braiiiiiins."

Harvard fired Lodge in 2023 and called his actions "morally reprehensible."

• He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
