Boston's Back Bay is getting a Southern comfort food restaurant.
Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley, a Dallas-based chain, plans to open on Arlington Street, Eater Boston reported.
The menu in its other locations has everything from peach cobbler waffles to shrimp and grits to Caribbean jerk lamb chops.
The space once housed the Nusr-et Steakhouse, the controversial Salt Bae restaurant that closed down in 2020 — less than a year after opening — after getting several complaints for ignoring COVID-19 safety protocols.
Beyond Full, a no-frills central Mass. eatery serving burgers, breakfast food and milkshakes is opening in the space formerly occupied by Zoe's in Harvard Square, per RestaurantTalk.
This will be Beyond Full's second location. The first popped up in Hopedale in 2019.
Dine Out Boston, the city's three-week restaurant tour, returns with more than 200 restaurants participating.
