Steph here. I stopped by Sugar Baking Co. in West Roxbury this weekend for some vegan doughnuts.
I was not disappointed.
What I got: A chocolate pecan vegan doughnut.
It's made with almond milk and, instead of eggs, apple sauce.
It's cooked with coconut oil.
What's the deal: Sugar Baking Co. is selling vegan doughnuts on Saturdays only, but the company could start taking vegan orders later this year if there's demand.
