What's next for Boston's loose cattle "Moodini"

We know him as "Moodini" — the male cattle that escaped captivity and was wandering around Boston's outer neighborhoods since June.

Why it matters: The Hereford steer (so not a bull as previously thought) was finally captured last month in Roslindale, behind the American Legion Highway Walgreens.

The steer was on his own for nearly two months.

Animal Control finally caught up to Moodini in an area filled with thick brush and got him into a pen for transportation to the MSPCA's Nevins Farm in Methuen.

What's next: The MSPCA needs to find someone with cattle experience to take in Moodini and give him a calmer life than what he had on the run.
