It was another rough week to be an MBTA commuter, with the Red Line stricken between Alewife and Kendall, and buses in place of trains to Park Street in the evenings.
- The Orange Line has been speedier than usual, but that hardly makes up for the massive headaches happening on the north side of the river.
What's next: Just wait until September when the whole Braintree branch of the Red Line shuts down again.

Alerts: The Red Line will remain bus-only from Alewife to Kendall until July 28.
