This week is packed with fireworks, parades and other celebrations for the Fourth of July, along with WWE fights and a "Star Wars" screening.
Monday 7/1
πΊ As Harborfest kicks off, the Army Band performs in Downtown Crossing, 1pm-6pm.
We heard somewhere that wrestling is popular again. So be it. WWE's Monday Night Raw comes to the TD Garden for tights and fights.
Tuesday 7/2
This tour is huge: Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have teamed up for the "Outlaw Fest" at the Xfinity Center.
π Fenway Park screens the 1977 classic, "Star Wars: Episode IV," 7:30pm-9:30pm.
- Price: $10.
- The first 7,000 attendees get free lightsabers.
π Catch the Boston Harborfest fireworks at Long Wharf, 9:15pm-9:30pm.
Wednesday 7/3
βπ» Learn about the letters of John & Abigail Adams at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, 7pm-9pm.
- Price: $25.
Thursday 7/4
πΊπΈ The Independence Day parade, part of Harborfest, kicks off with a flag raising and live music at City Hall Plaza, 9am-12pm.
- The parade goes through downtown and ends at the Old State House.
π Boston Pops July Fourth Spectacular returns with great views from the Esplanade, 8pm-11pm.
Friday 7/5
π§π» The Museum of Modern Renaissance in Somerville hosts "Friday Night Yoga" with live music, 7pm-8:30pm. Price: $35.
Saturday 7/6
Opening at the MFA: DalΓ: Disruption and Devotion.
- Nearly 30 of the surrealist master's works will be juxtaposed with classic European works from the museum's vast collection.
π Celebrate "Ween Weekend" at Park-9 Dog Bar in Everett Saturday and Sunday, 11am-9pm.
- It's a Dachshunds with food and drink specials and a contest for the "lowest ween." Dogs in hot dog costumes get in free.
Sunday 7/7
π Curator Talitha Maria G. Shepers takes a deep dive into 16th-century costume books at the Harvard Art Museum, 12pm-1pm.
- Tours are free, but first-come, first-serve.
