Trump chooses FCC commissioner Brendan Carr to lead agency

• He wrote that the FCC should "rein in" and regulate Big Tech companies.

The big picture: Trump noted that Carr had served at the FCC since 2012 and that the Republican he first nominated to the agency in 2017 has been confirmed unanimously by the Senate three times.
