Harris campaign is the first to run ad on Las Vegas Sphere

Vice President Harris' campaign showed off a new ad on the outside of the Sphere in Las Vegas this week ahead of her visit to the state on Halloween.

Why it matters: It's the first political campaign to use the 580,000 square feet of LED display space and is another example of this election cycle's more creative media tactics.

Zoom in: The ad on the Las Vegas Sphere features graphics encouraging people to vote in various languages, Axios observed.

The animations also splashed slogans "Vote for a new way forward" and "for lower costs," "When we fight we win," and "When we vote we win."
It's unclear how frequently the Sphere displayed the ad, but Axios observed it ran several times during the day and at a night starting on Tuesday.

The big picture: Former President Trump also plans to hold a rally in the battleground state on the same day as Harris with less than a week to go before Election Day.
