The state of Montana legalized sports betting on Friday when Gov. Steve Bullock signed a bill to allow the state lottery to supervise a wagering system on kiosks and mobile apps, reports AP.
The backdrop: The U.S. Supreme Court legalized sports betting nationwide last year. Already, several states have legalized state-regulated sports betting, according to ESPN.
Two-time Olympic champion Caster Semenya said she will not use any medication to lower her testosterone levels following a ruling from the the International Association of Athletics Federations newly overseeing testosterone levels in female athletes, reports Al-Jazeera.
Why this matters: The runner planned to return to Doha in September to compete at the world championships in the 800-meter, however the new rule would prevent her from participating. Semenya's legal team is weighing the option of appealing IAAF's decision, per Al-Jazeera.
